Our commitment

Bang Albino is committed to making this site usable for people of all abilities. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our working standard, and we treat accessibility as part of design and build rather than a check at the end.

As an Ontario business we also work to meet our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

What we do

We aim to check text and background colours for enough contrast, keep every page navigable with a keyboard and make sure images carry text descriptions, with visible focus as you move through the site.

Motion is kept short and purposeful, and it is reduced automatically if your device is set to prefer less movement.

This is a working standard we hold ourselves to, not a certificate we have earned yet. Where we know we fall short, we say so below.

If you would like information from this site in another format, such as large print, plain text or an accessible document, tell us what you need and we will arrange it at no cost.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site is hard to use, we want to hear about it. Send us a note through the contact form describing the page and what happened, and we will get back to you and fix what we can.

Some of our work samples are film and motion pieces. Captions and descriptions were produced for the original client context and may not all be available here. If you need an accessible version of anything you see, ask us and we will provide one.

We are still working through the details on our own site. Some text, particularly the red labels and text placed over photographs, does not yet meet the contrast level we aim for, and parts of the contact form need clearer keyboard focus. We are fixing these, and we would rather tell you about them than pretend they are not there.
